Since its foundation in the year 1961 the EFG Elektrotechnische Fabrikations- und Großhandels-gesellschaft - short name EFG GmbH - was developed into an innovating, middle size research and production company.

Its main field is the development and production of technical X-ray devices for science and industry, which are sold worldwide from USA, China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Russia to New Zealand.
The electronic and mechanical components of this machines are produced in EFG’s own plant by coworkers, like designers, engineers and workers in the machine shop, having got experience for many years. In the plant of mechanical production modern CNC controlled turning lathe, milling  and drilling machines are operating at disposal. As a producer and confident supplier of electronic and mechanical parts EFG is in the confidence of customers all over the world.

Beside the own production EFG manages the General agency and the service of the X-ray company RIGAKU, Japan. The agency territory is Germany, Benelux, Switzerland and Czech Republic and in special cases other surrounded countries. Under many others the companies Mitshubishi, AMD and Infineon are supplied with RIGAKU units.
